This year marks the fourth year we have participated in the Walk To Defeat ALS. This year is bitter sweet since I lost my brother Ron to this disease in October of last year. We must find a cure so families don't have the burden of caring for their loved ones, and patients don't have to suffer from this disease. Please join our team and help us find a cure. Thank you for what you are doing and I look forward to seeing you at the walk.
Every 90 minutes a person in this country is diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes another person will lose their battle against this disease. ALS occurs throughout the world with no racial, ethnic, or socioeconomic boundaries.
This crippling disease can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease though support is bringing researchers closer to an answer. In the mean time it costs an average of $200,000 to provide the care ALS patients need. Help make a difference and donate or join a walk today.
