There are many ways you can join the fight against ALS. Your support helps us improve the lives of people living with ALS in the state of Tennessee, while we continue to pursue treatments and ultimately, a cure for the disease.
ATTEND AN EVENT
Do you like the outdoors? Or are you more of a social butterfly? Whatever your interest is, we have an event for you! Grab a friend and find your passion and commitment to finding a cure for ALS! The Tennessee Chapter hosts 6 major events a year – Walk to Defeat ALS® (5 throughout the state) and Tee Off for ALS Golf Tournament. Participation in any of these meaningful activities means more support and awareness for local people and families battling ALS.
BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are an invaluable part of the ALS Association team. Friendly faces are needed in a variety of areas including patient support, office assistance and event planning/participation. People of all abilities are encouraged to apply. Please Contact Us if you'd like to help out.
HOST YOUR OWN EVENT
The Chapter is privileged to support friends and family members who organize and host their own fundraisers through the One Dollar Difference Program. The more people involved in raising funds for ALS research, services, and awareness, the bigger impact we can make.
BUILD A CORPORATE/BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP
Gifts from corporate supporters are crucial in the fight against ALS. Options are endless - we’ll work with you to customize a partnership that best supports your company’s philanthropic goals as well as your dreams of creating a world without ALS.
BECOME A VOICE
We encourage lawmakers on the state, federal, and local levels to implement public policy that improves the lives of people living with ALS. People with ALS need your help and your voice.
Donations to The ALS Association Tennessee Chapter help support all aspects of the agency’s mission – Research, Advocacy and Care Services for people with ALS in our community. Our Chapter offers various ways to give, including a new reoccurring monthly gift program coming soon and a Honorarium/Memorial program called Community of Hope.
